I admit it, I totally got this 9 piece bartender basics kit because I wanted to look cool, shaking up my buddies’ drinks in the dorm with a silver cup like the pros do. I wasn’t expecting to use the other stuff much (I bought the kit because it was such a good price), but I’m actually pleasantly surprised with how handy it’s proven itself. I’m popping beer bottles left and right with that can opener stick there, which opens them faster than the frat boys can fumble for their chintzy keychain openers.

One thing I really thought was nice are those black pour spouts. They make it really easy to pour exactly how much you want in the drink you’re making and make handling the bottles a lot simpler (and I spill a lot less on the counter now that I use them). I haven’t used the strainer yet, but considering I wasn’t expecting to use anything but the cup, it’ll probably happen. These are great, sturdy home bar accessories, if you’re in the market for a few.

This 8 foot 8-ball beer pong table is genius. It’s not only portable, waterproof, and comes with racking diagrams, but it also has an option for a billiards themed game on top of that. Playing beer pong with this table is a blast, and it’s done wonders for parties I’ve thrown. I couldn’t be happier with this table- I’m glad I got one.

I’ve been playing beer pong since my friends introduced it to me on my 21st birthday. I love playing it and try to come up with new ways to get the ping pong ball to bounce into the cups, but I haven’t yet reached the sort of skill those legends on YouTube have. Because of the billiards design on the table, my friends and I were inspired to come up with our own pool-themed rules: if you sink the 8-ball early (you have to sink it last, like in pool) you lose and have to drink whatever’s left! Our custom rules make for a lot of fun and are a big challenge once you get into the third round.
