I don’t know how it always happens, but somehow the kitchen is constantly cluttered. No sooner do I sort through all of the mail and the kid’s paperwork from their school day than there seems to be a new pile on the table. Then there are the snack boxes and other last minute foods that end up being left on the kitchen counter top every time I turn around. Since I’m sick of the constant clutter I’ve decided it’s time to get more organized in the kitchen and figure out better ways to keep things off of my counter. One of the things I’m planning to add is a Cobalt Blue Ceramic Kitchen Canister Set to store some of the kid’s treats in as well as some of our morning teas.

I am overdue for some cool kitchen tools in my kitchen anyway, so this is a perfect excuse for me to buy some new goodies for my kitchen. While I’m at it, I plan to add some slide out shelves into some of my cabinets so I can store my spices and pot covers more easily too. I’ll also need to get a good hanging folder rack so I can keep all of the paperwork off of my table but still have them with in easy reach when I need them.

Right now my cabinets are over flowing with a bunch of plastic food storage containers and a few glass ones. At some point I really need to go through these containers because they’re taking up too much room in my limited cabinet space and I think quite a few of them no longer have covers that fit them anymore. Plus what is really starting to bug me is how tired the plastic is starting to look. Unlike my glass containers, the plastic ones have become stained and also have little cuts and cracks showing in some of them. So it’s time to clean up and make the switch to only glass for me. I like this Glasslock 16 Piece Food Storage Container Set.

Unlike my ugly plastic food containers, glass food storage containers age very well and you can use them in the microwave too. This set has plenty of containers to fulfill my food storage needs for awhile including
three different size rectangular containers that go up to a 68 ounce size, four square containers of varying sizes including a big 88 ounce container, a handy small round container and then 8 matching silicone-sealed lids. This set is sure to last me for years to come.

I bought this cookware set to replace my aging cookware, and the difference is like night and day. I had forgotten what it was like to cook food in a pan that has a non stick coating that actually works! This Rachael Ray 10 Piece Enamel Cookware Set is very high quality and it blows my old set out of the water. The enamel is looks wonderful, the finish is even and smooth. The set has a retro modern look which makes them a pleasure to look at and I’m no longer embarrassed when I look at my stove top.

The handles are very comfortable and they keep the heat under control very well even when cooking for long periods. I really love the glass lids, not only because I can see my food but they perfectly match the style of these pans. This very high quality set is relatively inexpensive and I feel like I made a great buy with these. I highly recommend this set for anyone who wants to replace aging cookware or if you just want to spruce up your kitchen with some very functional and beautiful pieces. I’d give this nonstick cookware set a 5 out of five stars as I think they are perfect!

I just love quiche. Yes it’s a bit sinful, full of calories and fat grams I’d just assume no one mentioned. There’s just something about quiche that when I see it on a restaurant menu, I have the urge to order it. I think part of the appeal for me, besides the fact that I enjoy eggs so much, is that it is a rather special treat. A warm and tasty portion of quiche Lorraine served with a light balsamic walnut salad is just heavenly to me. Of course, I also like ordering off of a menu because someone else has already done all of the work. That is, until I decided to go ahead and purchase a quality Kaiser Quiche Pan so I could make my own quiche at home.

This pan makes baking quiche so easy, that now I’m usually on the lookout for new quiche recipes to try. Turns out my friends enjoy quiche quite a bit too, especially homemade, so I like to serve quiche when they come over for a special brunch or sometimes just because! This pan is perfect – it is made of commercial-weight steel and it features a removable bottom with magnum coating which allows for cutting in the pan without damaging the surface. Now that I see how excellent the quality is on my quiche pan, I think I’ll be stocking up on some great Kaiser cake pans too.

Do you ever run into problems keeping your pots and pans in some sort of decent organized order in their cabinet? Or run out of room to stack them inside each other and then try to figure out where to put the lids? I do and it frustrates me when I want to grab my favorite pot and have to struggle pulling it out of the cabinet – it makes quite a racket too. That’s why I knew it was time I did something about my kitchen storage space. When I came across this great wrought iron pot rack, I was thrilled. Not only will it store up to 40 pounds of my pots and skillets, but it’s beautiful too.

Hanging it near the stove means that I can hang the pots and pans I use the most on the pot rack. No more searching around behind the lobster pot that gets used on July Fourth for the sauté pan I use four or five times a week! Now my favorites will in easy reach at all times. It has a dozen hooks, so I’ll have plenty of room to add a few of my long handled spoons and spatulas, so that will eliminate scrambling through the utensil drawer when I’m busy cooking. This pot rack will allow me to be more organized, and add a great dash of style to my kitchen. It’s destined to be one of my favorite kitchen accessories!
